About Us

Community Vision believes that all people, regardless of perceived ability, have the freedom to make the choices that define their lives. It is our mission to make Oregon a place where people who experience disabilities can live, work, and thrive in the communities of their choice. We provide a person-centered approach and high-quality supports that are tailored to the unique needs and wishes of each individual and family. In providing services, we work alongside natural support systems to build a network that empowers people to live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible. Our offerings include: employment services, savings plans & financial education, family support, housing assistance, and assistive technology consultations.

Over the last year, we supported 53 people living independently, created 11 new jobs and coached 13 people already employed, provided 32 families with education and support, helped 35 people manage savings plans, connected 12 young adults with mentors, involved 21 people in the community, exhibited the work of 3 artists with a disability, and trained over 200 parents, teachers, and students in assistive technology. Lastly, all of our services are located in our new universally designed building, The Seven Corners Collaborative, which co-locates seven disability-focused non-profits. Our goal in creating this building was to improve the ease of access to services, to create a welcoming hub for the community, and to develop a collaborative environment where people can feel connected to each other, share their experiences, and together, build a stronger voice for people with disabilities.
