We can't believe it has been 30 years!

But here we are... 

It all started when Joe wanted to help one man, Donald Bos, move out of a group facility and into his family's home.  Donald wanted to live as independently as possible, but be with his family and feel connected to his community. This didn't seem like an unreasonable request to Joe.  Thus, Community Vision began!

From the humble days of creating unique supports around one person, empowering him to make the choices that defined his life... something he had never experienced... Community Vision has grown in leaps and bounds.  Through Joe's unyielding vision, CV quickly grew from supporting independent living and creating homeownership opportunities, to an organization that is shaping the landscape for people with disabilities. CV has given hundreds of people the tools to live more independently, has provided guidance in finding employment and developing savings plans, has created a space to explore assistive technology, and has continued to lead the charge at the forefront of inclusion and accessibility.
